The collections cover important facts about the history of Stockerau and the district and about local ethnology and natural history.
Belevedereschlössl is home to the district museum. It comprises a remarkable prehistorical and early historical collection (finds from Grossmugl – including a lunar idol from 500 BC) as well as collections about Stockerau that cover town and district history plus local ethnology and natural history. Significant ancient coins and coin finds from Höbersdorf are also on display.
Public arrival is easily accessible by train or bus.
