The landlord - Gerald Diemt - tries to preserve old traditions and imbue them with new culinary life. This succeeds brilliantly in the cuisine, which is fully dedicated to being “down-to-earth but somewhat younger” as the host and landlord puts it. Dishes are therefore served at your table with creative input and visual joy. The wine list offers Wachau treasures in abundance, with special emphasis on the neighbouring Tegernseehof.
