Our pumpkin farm is nestled on the edge of the Danube between Melk Abbey and the pilgrimage site of Maria Taferl, in the small village of Ornding near Pöchlarn.

We are the Heisler's and run one of the oldest and most beautiful pumpkin farms in Lower Austria. Our family is completely dedicated to the large berry.

Whether it's tasting our home-made and multiple gold award-winning products or wonderful autumnal decorations around or with the pumpkin, we have something for everyone! Starting with our well-known and annual award-winning pumpkin seed oil through to our full-bodied pumpkin gin. From melt-in-the-mouth, chocolatey pumpkin seeds to spicy chutney and vegan pesto, there is something for everyone.

For this reason, we are also a very popular year-round destination.

Every year from the last weekend in August (starting with our opening festival) until the end of October, the pumpkins make their way to our farm. During this time, 150 different pumpkin varieties await you, of course well-known ones such as Hokkaido and Butternut, but also exotic ones such as Verruqueuse de Maurice, Black Cat Miss Sophie Pink and many more.  Of course, there is also a huge selection of wonderful carved pumpkins in all sizes and colors.
