We start at the baroque Spitzer Kirchenplatz. Opposite the Gasthaus Mariandl is the start sign with the first signpost, the quality wine bottle. We turn to the left and right at Schloss Spitz, walk through an archway and pass the castle car park. At the end of the street we already reach the Spitzer Weinrieden, the shooting range (information board), and turn right. After about 200 m we reach the Trutschplatz (information board) and turn left into the Rote-Tor-Gasse. At the next junction we turn right, directly into the vineyard (Rieden Achspoint and Hochrain): Before us lies the legendary Singerriedel vineyard. At the end of the path we go left, directly up to the Red Gate, a fantastic viewpoint and last rest of the Spitzer "village wall". In front of the gate (do not go through) we go down the road (Güterweg) and at the first house, Weingut Bracher, turn right up (Güterweg) and cross the Pluris vineyard. After a big loop we come to a fork where we continue uphill to the right. At the next intersection we turn left and enter Ried Hartberg. We cross the vineyard and leave the asphalted road at a right turn and continue straight ahead. We reach a goods road again and turn left. After a few minutes we turn right off the road and walk through the Gasslreith vineyard. We go a small right loop and then downhill to the Güterweg Radlbach. When we reach this, we turn left and after a few hundred metres we reach the Radlbach district - with its Gothic houses. At the end of Radlbach we reach a crossroad and turn left. At the next crossroads turn left and immediately right again into the Hinterweg. Slightly downhill, with a beautiful view towards Singerriedel, we come back to the castle, turn right and reach the Spitzer Kirchenplatz.
