The Mayer winery, a family business soon to be in its third generation, places great value on quality, style and service. Natural cultivation, yield-limited cultivation and meticulous work in the vineyard have ensured satisfied wine customers and wine tavern guests for years.
The winery is located in the wine village of Königsbrunn, north of the fertile Tullnerfeld and along the banks of the Danube. Here, where the Wagram forms the edge of the hilly Weinviertel and the climate still breathes the Wachau, the wines produced with passion and patience thrive.
Grüner Veltliner, Rivaner, Riesling, Grüner Sylvaner, Gelber Muskateller and Zweigelt are harvested from the vineyards. Quality and Kabinett wines as well as a full-bodied ice wine are served in the in-house wine tavern. The home-made dishes on offer will delight both the hearty as well as the discerning and vegetarian palate. The large guest garden in summer and the play corner for the little ones make a visit to Königsbrunn a special treat.
