Honesty is the most important thing for Barbara Langer in her tavern in Erlauf. In the in-house cooking workshop, convenience products are dispensed with; taste enhancers are also taboo. Instead, the landlady relies on home-made products such as lemonades, syrups and nectar. The fresh herbs from our own garden and the meat and vegetables come from the region. Quality and seasonality are always taken into account in the selection of products. On the menu guests will find excellent home cooking, but also new creations are offered. The friendly and competent service staff recommends the liver dumpling soup as an appetizer. As a main course, the Wiener Schnitzel with homemade potatoes salad is popular. Kalbsbeuschel and Sonntagsbrat'l with dumplings and cabbage are also traditional dishes in the Langer Erlauf.
Culinary diversity
At the Langer, craft meets diversity, which is underlined by homemade jams, chutneys and spirits. The apples from the garden provide fruity notes, and the cakes, pies and cream cakes are strikingly good. Tip: The Langer family teaches the high baking and cooking arts in individual workshops. The ambience in the Langer - Erlauf inn is to say: the parlour, the banquet hall, the extra room and the tavern invite you to linger. The rooms are booked exclusively for events and catering is arranged according to the wishes of the guests.
