Best of Wachau
The top hospitality businesses in the Wachau have joined together for the “Best-of-Wachau” initiative and offer the finest in lodgings, wining and dining for authentic and memorable experiences.
Due to a rockslide in June 2024, the B33 federal highway on the south bank of the Wachau in the area of the municipality of Aggsbach Dorf is closed. However, we are pleased to inform you that ALL places and ALL businesses in the entire Wachau-Nibelungengau-Kremstal region are easily accessible and open during regular opening hours. In the following, we will be happy to inform you about smaller local detours and any alternative routes.
The Wachau is a paradise for connoisseurs, but also for culture and nature lovers. Whether you enjoy the magnificent monasteries, the historic castles or the excellent wines and culinary delights at the Heuriger - it is a pleasure for all the senses.
