Current situation

Due to the extraordinary amounts of rain in the last few days, the water level on the Danube has increased significantly.
Both the Wachau Marathon (on September 15th, 2024) and the Star Night in the Wachau (September 21st, 2024) have already been canceled due to the heavy rain.

The water level on the Danube and all its tributaries is expected to increase in the next few days. We will put all important information online here.
