The hike from Paudorf to Hollenburg starts directly in the centre of Paudorf . From there, head towards your destination on the impressive sculpture trail. In addition to the unique wooden sculptures along the way, there are also fantastic viewpoints of the entire wine region. The Wilhelm Kienzl Museum invites you to a first leisurely stopover. Only a few kilometres further on, in Höbenbach, it is the famous Kellergasse with its wine taverns that calls for a well-deserved break. Culinary delicacies to feast on and delicious Kremstal DAC wines from the region provide the necessary refreshment. Via the charming village centre of Krustetten, the route then continues to the stage destination in Hollenburg. The unique feature of this hike, however, is the path: Heurige and wineries make for a delightful and cosy tour that will certainly not be forgotten in a hurry.

Make the most of your hike with culinary delights. In the Kremstal, the Heurigen culture has a great tradition, and you can enjoy regional delicacies in a glass and on a plate.  The Kremstal DAC stands for spicy Grüner Veltliner and elegant mineral Rieslings. You can find out when and where it's set out in the Heurigen calendar.

    Turn-by-turn directions

From the centre of Paudorf, the road can be easily crossed via a subway. From now on, we walk along the Sculpture Trail, which goes back to the International Wood Sculpture Symposium 1997, past the Umgehenden Kreuz to Höbenbach. Almost on the way is the Hellerhof, which houses the Kienzl Museum. The Höbenbach stream up to the village of the same name is our companion. Once there, we arrive directly at the Kellergasse. We pass this on the left, across the village square to the Setzenweg, where we turn right uphill, past the Dockner winery, into the Güterweg, which takes us to Krustetten. We have already reached the village at the White Cross, which we walk through on Hollenburger Straße, past a few wine taverns. At the end of the village, our path branches off to the left, through the Ried Hopfengrund and Glockenberg until we arrive in Kleedorf. At the Bundesstraße 43, we leave it again immediately and walk along the Wehingerweg through the settlement in the direction of the private clinic. But we don't go as far as the clinic, but take Krustettner Straße to Lumpazi-Bräu. Shortly afterwards, stairs lead us down to a path that brings us almost without traffic to the destination of our 3rd stage, the Hollenburg centre.
