Alexander is derived from the ancient Greek name Alexandros and means the defender, the protector. At the Alexander inn in Gallbrunn, you are aware of the meaning of the name - and stay true to it. The traditional inn in the Danube region sees itself as a guardian of pleasure and pioneer of classic tavern cuisine. Since the third generation of Alexander Muhr has continued the traditions, the culinary horizon for guests has expanded. International influences perfectly complement the domestic cooking line. The pink roasted rabbit back in walnut butter with homemade fresh cheese mushroom ravioli is a modern cooking style. Small Italian and Asian influences also make a good impression on the menu, but the connection to home is undisputed.

The inn itself has a modern living room flair, an ambience that attracts a wide range of tastes. The weekly specials, especially the -burger evenings with tender beef from the region, are popular. In the in-house confectionery, one is happy to experiment. The enological focus is in Carnuntum, where guests can enjoy an exquisite selection from the Danube region. You can enjoy the fine wines in the inn garden.A generous vine provides shade for the whole farm - a magnificent specimen. The preferred choice for weddings and family celebrations is the banquet hall, with show cooking classes with the house chef completing the offer.
