Weingut Güntschl

The Güntschl winery, whose roots go back to 1618, is a place characterized by a long history, the power of nature, passion, creativity and the know-how to make the most of the grape. These ingredients form the success story of the Güntschl family. The vine and the wine are the unifying element in the family, and three generations of Güntschls gather in the vineyard today to transfer knowledge, discuss conditions and create further developments.

A winegrower must never tire of being inspired and guided by existing conditions in order to produce special wines. Because good wine is not made in the cellar, it grows in the vineyard. The Güntschl winery was even portrayed in the Kurier TV series ‘Weinreise durch Niederösterreich’. In addition to the winery, the family also runs a panoramic wine tavern from which you can enjoy a wonderful view while you browse through the wine cellar and relax.
