The Donaugartl is the summer alternative to the pub, nestled between the Danube and the inn. The Donaugartl has its own menu with smart summer cuisine, plenty of space to party, relax and play tag and absolutely no reason to feel out of place in cycling shorts.
SUMMER CUISINE WITH A TWIST
From beef tartare burgers to fried chicken: from Thursday to Monday, the Donaugartl serves good things in solid and liquid form. The ingredients come almost exclusively from the 66 radius - i.e. from a maximum radius of 66 kilometres around the Donaugartl. This does not apply to the guests: they often have to travel much longer distances for their trip to the Donaugartl.
KNIFE, FORK, SECATEURS
Around 66 different herbs grow in the Donaugartl - from chives to yarrow and from lemon verbena to cinnamon pepper. They are used in the kitchen and add flavour to almost every dish on the menu. If you like, you can add flavour to your dishes as you please: the cutlery comes with garden shears, which you can use to harvest the treasures from the herb garden yourself.
