It is well known that the terrace at the Haslauerhof country inn is one of the most beautiful in Lower Austria. The sound of the passing Danube and the panoramic view over the Donau-Auen National Park provide a slowdown for the guests. Yes, in the inn of Roland Lukesch in Haslau on the Danube one is doing well. The deeper reason, however, is the exceptionally good food that is prepared in the kitchen of the country inn. So close to flowing waters, fish dishes are naturally in demand. The fried sea buckthorn with 3 kinds of Marchfeld asparagus and risotto is a seasonal hit. The spoon-soft Ochsenwangerl are served with crunchy vegetables and puree. The pink roasted Barbarie duck breast presents itself with a strong character on lentils, egg sponge root vegetables.

The Haslauerhof country inn has a high standard in the kitchen. Down-to-earth restaurant classics serve as a basis for the award-winning restaurant and are often combined with international trends. What stands out positively: The modern restaurant area is light-flooded and inviting. Large panoramic windows offer a deep view of the national park and the wine list is stocked with national and international grape varieties. The well-trained service staff spoils the guests with restraint - but with dedication. Through cooking classes and the increasingly popular show cooking on the wood stove, interaction with guests is encouraged.
