Hofschneider Bio Weingut & Heuriger

In Mannersdorf am Leithagebirge, the Hofschneider organic winery combines traditional viticulture with sustainable cultivation. Since converting to organic farming methods in 2001, wines with a strong character have been produced here, which are characterized by the special location and the careful treatment of nature.

The avoidance of chemical pesticides and fertilizers as well as the careful manual work in the vineyard make it possible to bring out the individual characteristics of the soil and vines in the best possible way. The range includes classic white wines such as Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay as well as strong red wines, including Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent. Specialties such as organic Rosecco and organic Quadrillo complete the range.

In addition to winegrowing, the Hofschneider family also runs a wine tavern in the historic “Brunn'gwölb”. Cold specialties, homemade pastries and, of course, their own wines are offered in a cosy atmosphere. A small playground ensures that even the youngest guests feel at home.
