Winzerhof Wolfgang Berthiller

Winzerhof Wolfgang Berthiller is a place that combines tradition and hospitality. The history of the winery dates back to 1835, when the first verifiable entry in the land register of a press house owned by Leopold Berthiller was made. Since then, four generations have developed the business from a mixed farm with livestock into a modern winery with a restaurant.

The former inn has been transformed into a cozy winery and wine tavern. In addition to the main varieties Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner, the old grape variety Müller-Thurgau, known as the young “Stritzi”, is also vinified. The Winzerhof is particularly proud of the year-round game specialties from its own hunt, which are produced by the local butcher.
