The Habacht family's long tradition of winegrowing and wine taverns is impressive. The first generation served wine in the press house, while the second generation built the Heurigen restaurant in 1988. With the last generation change in 2005, the Heuriger was generously extended and renovated to meet the requirements of a modern business.
Now in its third generation, the Habacht family spoils its guests with seasonal and innovative delicacies. The vineyards, which cover an area of 2 hectares, are located in Stetteldorf am Wagram and in the neighboring municipality of Rußbach. The main variety is Grüner Veltliner, the most widespread variety in the region. The Riesling, Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Rivaner, Muskateller, Zweigelt, Merlot, Roesler and St. Laurent varieties are also vinified with equal passion. A visit to Heurigen Habacht is an experience for all the senses and a highlight for every wine lover.
