The Johannes Schuster winery is known for its mighty, still-functioning tree press, which is used for the traditional pressing of grapes using the so-called 'spindle method'. This rare method of juice extraction results in down-to-earth, high-quality and harmonious wines. The press house, which is located directly in Kellergasse Scheibe with the vineyard behind it, is the origin of the vineyard culture. All processing steps from the grape to the wine in the bottle are carried out here in order to maintain the tradition of working in the wine cellar and in the Kellergasse.

The cork oak stands as a symbol for the cork bottle stoppers, which are used for reasons of closeness to nature and the conscious preservation of the wine tradition. Manual labor plays an important role, especially in the foliage work and the selection of the grapes. The vineyards are located in the Wagram wine-growing region in Lower Austria, known for varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Roter Veltliner. The vineyards are located in vineyards with loess soil, which characterizes the typical wines of the Wagram.
