The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine and complements it with Italian specialities. The philosophy is clear: good food requires craftsmanship, passion and international experience. The head chef, who grew up with the culinary traditions of Vienna and Naples, combines both influences in a natural way. Having spent many years in Italy and Switzerland, he has a deep understanding of authentic flavours and preparation techniques.
The stylish restaurant is located in the Rohrau Castle estate, just a few hundred metres from the birthplace of the world-famous composers Joseph and Johann Michael Haydn. The Counts of Harrach zu Rohrau were one of the most influential families of the Habsburg monarchy. As advisors to the imperial family, diplomats and ecclesiastical princes - one even as Viceroy of Naples - they had a decisive influence on European history.
